Fourth Diabolic
[A. 1334 Benny Road - Action]
[Hayate received her box with some trepidation. After the boxing glove that left her lip split and broken and the bee stings, she was wary of any more presents. However upon opening it, she found a card with a picture of a small shining object, one that she recognized as her linker core.
There was a jolt and she felt life surge through her body as the warm, comforting feeling of her full power was swimming in her body. Anyone passing by who was sensitive to magic -- within 4 blocks of the house even -- can feel the tremendous surge of SS rank magic blasting through Hayate before subsiding.]
Whoof, that was a rush! I wonder if getting back regains feels that nice?
[B. Phone to Nanoha cast]
Faaaaaatttteeee~ Vivio~ Ein-chan, Arf~, I got my magic back! Sadly my limiter didn't come with it so lemme know if space-time's being warped and I'll try and reign it in. Okay?
[C. Phone to Bazett]
Baz, I got my magic back just fyi. You probably coulda felt that surge coming from my house. Just wanted ta letcha know.
[D. Ordinary Shopping Time - Anywhere]
[Once Hayate was done all of her calls, she had decided to go out for shopping. Vita went through hot milk like a fiend every morning and they were always running low. So she's out with a bag of groceries from any direction or point, humming to herself. As usual, anyone who is magic sensitive can probably feel Hayate coming from a block away.]

Re: C
You could. Are you good at calculus? That's what we use for the system I use, even if it is Ancient Belkan.
Re: C
[An entire system of magecraft based on mathematic equations instead of spells sounded very interesting.]
I only know how to limit the units of prana I put forth. As an analogy, you could say that it is less calculus than basic arithmetic.
Re: C
Maybe I should just look into relaxing and trying not to use the magic at all.
Re: C
[She hesitates for a moment before changing the subject.]
Hayate...what...what ever happened to your Servants?
Re: C
Re: C
[Bazett lets out the breath that she has been holding. If the Servants had stayed with Hayate, then it means she probably won the Grail War and made her wish.]
I'm a little surprised that you could sustain all four of them and keep on firing your magical spells.
[Then again, Hayate did have much greater powers than the average magus, and her magical girl status allowed her access to nearly infinite prana.]
Re: C
But then again, I do have a ton of magic.
Re: C
Have they tried to help you with your magic?
Re: C
Re: C
[She is a bit confused.]
Do you mean that your transformation device is a familiar? I hear that sufficiently advanced devices can be considered a sort of familiar, but so far, the only Kaleidosticks I have seen have been constructed by Lord Zelretch...
Re: C
Re: C
[This is unexpected. The Kaleidosticks seemed to simply remain as sticks.]
Re: C
Re: C
[This familiar sounded much more advanced than anything she was used to.]
Your Belkan Magic really is something...
Re: C
After Eins faded away and the books functions were reset, I gave birth to Zwei, my precious daughter and she's been a part of the family for about twelve years now.
Hehe thanks, but I didn't do it all by myself. The rest of the family helped, as well as the mages from Midchilda who allowed me to keep them with me.
Re: C
[Just when she thought she had it figured all out, Hayate had thrown her for a loop yet again.]
Re: C
Yep! Reinforce was important to me, like all of my family who came from the book and live with me now. Since it's a part of me, I feel lonely without them. But at least Vita's here now and I get to have one of my cute kids here!
She was originally known as the nameless book, the Book of Darkness. But when we finally stopped its defense program, I gave her the name Reinforce. "I will bestow upon you a name..." Sounds like a fairy tale doesn't it?
Re: C
So the book was a sentient artifact that acted as yet another familiar. What is this about its defense program?
[She pauses for a bit.]
Vita is your Servant?
Re: C
That's right, Vita's my Servant but she's more family now than anything else. She goes to the elementary school here.
Re: C
Re: C
It basically used my power and the power of others once completed, to turn into a big ol' monster that needed a whapping.
Re: C
Did your Servants have any connection with that Book of Darkness? And why was it sent to you in the first place if it was meant to destroy Earth?
Re: C
Sadly it was Admiral Graham that sent it to me. He had an idea that they could trap me and the book in ice and put it somewhere safe. Everyone else had different plans and we managed to succeed.
But it really wasn't the Wolkenritter's fault. Over the centuries it's been active, the book had become corrupted and its circuits faulty. So in a way, I gave it a new life and purpose. It's power is fused with my linker core, thus bringing me the potential output of a thousand mages.
Re: C
[Then again, there was at least one Servant with no original legend behind him, so it was possible that there could be some "fictional" heroes out there.]
I'm glad everything worked out for you and your Servants.
[Even if it had taken a long time to get to the actual explanation.]
Re: C
Hehe thanks. Want me to introduce you to Vita sometime? I promise she'll be on her best behavior.
